International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the historical, cultural, and political achievements of women. It’s also a day observed in support of taking action against gender inequality and discrimination around the world. 

We all know the world couldn't run without women (just listen to Beyoncé!). To prove this, organisations large and small come together to show the world just how valuable women of all identities and ages are in today’s society.

Each year, International Women's Day has a theme, and for 2022, it is #BreakTheBias.

Whether deliberate or unconscious, prejudice and discrimination can make it difficult for women to move forward in today’s society. Knowing that bias exists is not enough, action is needed to combat the issue.

Therefore, in support of the fight against gender bias, discrimination and stereotyping, Happy London is making a donation to Girls Out Loud, a UK-based organisation that helps young girls of 13-18 years old achieve their goals and find mentors and role models.
